Hi Joe,

Tell us a little about your new company, the machines that you are using, and whether your manufacturing process will differ much if an all from that at your previous place of employment.

Best of luck!

Greetings.
Good Idea Peter.

One big difference is I have no Overhead. My partner Dan and I are doing everything. This will help to keep the cost down.
My Machines are of course different, but they are Similar to what I made the Anvils on before. My Mill is Newer but the Lathe is older.

The processes are identical. I have only found one way to make Anvils that spin "true" so processes are the same. Our 3 Inch lower Anvils now have a Larger Bearings in them that can handle a Heavier Pressure. The 2 Inch Anvils have the same Bearing I have been using.

This week we will be starting Adjusters, cradles, then Lifters.

Default good news

Hi Joe nice to see you are back in the anvil business. My anvils arrived at my co workers house in the U.S. He has brought them over to me, in small lots. When ever his and my shift over-lapped. I am very happy with them, I just need a little time to get them into my frame. thank-you, to you and your wife she was very patient with all my emails.

I'm thinking about having a few large diameter anvils made. I'm thinking 6X3. Not sure about the radius yet. I forgot all about the parts. I'll get in touch with you after I get back from Bonneville
